Research revealed a fragmented landscape where solar sales, design, and management tools operate independently, resulting in inefficiencies throughout the installation process.

Recognizing the widespread operational challenges of solar installations businesses highlighted a crucial need for a centralized management system.
The solution was a unified platform integrating digital tools to streamline the entire installation process, enhancing project management efficiency and simplifying operations for all team members.

Uncovering the optimal workflow
It was integral to discover the ideal user flow in order to understand what user types would carry out each action within the platform, and in what order. We spoke to a number of solar installation companies to identify their individual and business needs.
Enhancing the user journey
Prior to executing on wireframes, we iterated extensively on how to best organize the product in order to optimize the full installer journey. High-level experience flow mapping became our guides during the wireframing process.
Unifying multiple brands, all under one roof
Streamlining platform access
Users can conveniently access the offerings from Enstall—and all its business units—from a central location using Single Sign-On (SSO), with an advanced user-permissioning capabilities for teams and organizations.
Aligning visual design
A new brand identity was introduced alongside Enstall's new digital offering. Separate from any single business unit, the unique brand reinforces Enstall as the go-to solution for streamlined solar projects.

An LMS and training tool was integrated into the platform to educate and empower individuals to become skilled installers and manage their solar businesses effectively.

The integration partner initially provided a landing page design that didn't align with Enstall's now cohesive aesthetic, causing user confusion. To address this, we designed custom catalog and course pages that would offer detailed course introductions and clear learning paths for users.
